How To Setup Basic On Page SEO

In this tutorial, we take you through the process of setting up basic on page SEO. On page SEO is different than a full SEO strategy. Plugins such as Yoast SEO and Smartcrawl Pro provide the ability to set custom metadata for each page or post on your website.  They also allow you to set a keyword for the page or post.

This added functionality helps Google find your website more effectively. It helps to continue building authority for your website. In this tutorial we will show you the basics of Yoast SEO. We walk through the installation, setting up keywords and metadata on a wordpress post.

Great content, thanks a lot for contributing to the Divi community!
Bottom line, do you recommend to stick with Yoast or to use WPMUDEV SEO plugin for best results?

I’d recommend sticking with Yoast if you already have it setup.

I really like Smartcrawl for some of it’s more “premium” features that are part of Yoast paid.

Overall, as long as you can generate and submit a sitemap, create redirects and input keywords, use whichever one you prefer.
