Project Description

When I was 5 years old, my mom signed me up for karate.  I was so excited to start karate! I was a HUGE Bloodsport fan (80's kids, you know what I mean!) I spent a year in the system and learned about patience, respect and dedication.  As I started to grow up, I moved into other activities, but always looked back fondly on the memories I had while I was learning karate.

Fast forward 25 years and I get the opportunity to work with the Sensei who taught me karate when I was just a little kid.  This project meant the world to me because I would be able to bring Acadiana Karate into the mobile first world and design their very first responsive website.  This project was a major source of education for me as it was the first time I had attempted a membership site.  Acadiana Karate had a current website that had over 500 people active.  Transitioning to a new website was a welcomed challenge.  This project continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of Acadiana Karate and I am so proud to have been the person to have brought it to life.
